GMTC participated in a cultural symposium organized to discuss the literary and cultural heritage of the great Palestinian poet Tawfiq Zayad and the struggling writer Ghassan Kanafani, in order to emphasize the importance of the cultural dimension in strengthening national identity and highlighting the Palestinian novel.
The symposium discussed the biography of Ghassan Kanafani and his creative legacy, which constituted a pillar in highlighting the Palestinian struggle literary and intellectual, and also highlighted the role of the poet Tawfiq Ziad in documenting the suffering of the Palestinian people poetically, and his political and struggle role inside the occupied Palestinian territories.
During its participation, GMTC stressed the importance of preserving these literary figures and enhancing their presence in cultural curricula and events because of their pivotal role in rooting national awareness and building the Palestinian resistance character through literature and culture.
