As part of GMTC's keenness to integrate military training with community activities, members of the "Enhancing Basic Concepts and Applied Practical Skills" course carried out a visit to the ancestral home for the elderly in Jericho, with the aim of promoting the values of solidarity and humanity and consolidating the spirit of giving among the participants.
The visit witnessed the implementation of a series of interactive events with the elderly, which included recreational and artistic activities, in addition to the participation of members in volunteer work such as cleaning the squares and caring for the garden surrounding the place, which added an atmosphere of familiarity and joy between the participants and the residents of the home.
The course supervisors stressed that this initiative comes in line with GMTC's mission to prepare an aware military generation that combines professional discipline and commitment to human values, thus enhancing its pioneering role in serving society.
