Under the slogan “Greening My Country Campaign”, GMTC hosted a tree planting event at CTI, with broad official participation, in order to enhance national efforts to protect the environment and increase vegetation cover.
The event was attended by His Excellency the Minister of Agriculture, Professor Rizk Salimeh, His Excellency the Governor of Jericho and the Jordan Valleys, Dr. Hussein Hamayel, the Head of GMTC, Staff Major General / Mahmoud Haroun, and the Director General of Civil Defense, Major General Akram Thawabteh, in addition to the Ministry of Agriculture staff and a team of volunteers and students of the courses at the institute.
The attendees stressed that this activity comes within the framework of enhancing environmental awareness and consolidating the culture of land conservation, noting that planting trees represents a sustainable investment that contributes to protecting natural resources and enhancing social responsibility.

The activity included planting a number of trees within the institute's facilities, in an atmosphere that embodied the spirit of cooperation and joint work between military and civilian institutions.
