GMTC Organizes a Specialized Lecture on Victory Day and the Russian Context for Intermediate Leadership Course Participants

As part of the 29th Intermediate Leadership Course, GMTC organized a specialized lecture presented by Colonel Dr. Maxim Misin, Special Representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, to course participants in the Russian Museum.
Misin discussed Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War and the Russian context, reviewing the historical and strategic dimensions of this pivotal event in Russian consciousness and its profound impact on the development of military doctrine and the strengthening of national resilience.
He highlighted the Russian experience in managing major conflicts and the lessons it offers in steadfastness, discipline and the ability to utilize national resources to confront challenges, emphasizing the importance of learning from international experiences to enhance institutional and security performance.
Following the lecture, participants conducted a field visit to Hisham Palace, where they learned about one of the most prominent archaeological sites and its rich cultural significance. This event comes within the framework of GMTC’s vision aimed at deepening strategic awareness among its members and enhancing their ability to read and draw inspiration from international experiences in building security leaders capable of facing various challenges efficiently and competently.
