As part of strengthening partnerships with national institutions, the head of GMTC Staff Major General/ Mahmoud Haroun, visited Jericho Municipality, accompanied by his deputy, Brigadier General / Bassam Al-Jarbi, and a number of GMTC`s officers who were received by the mayor, Major General / Salem Ghrof.
During the visit, Staff Major General/ Mahmoud Haroun congratulated the Mayor of Jericho on assuming his duties as Mayor wishing him success in performing his duties to serve the people of the governorate and enhance municipal work.
During the meeting, prospects for joint cooperation and coordination between the two sides were discussed, in a way that enhances institutional integration and serves the public interest, in addition to discussing ways to expand areas of cooperation in line with the requirements of national and community work.
Staff Major General / Mahmoud Haroun stressed that GMTC's work is based on a strategic vision based on building effective partnerships with various national institutions, which contributes to enhancing institutional performance and consolidating the values of integration and responsibility in serving the nation and the citizen.
For his part, the Mayor of Jericho welcomed the visit and congratulated it, praising the role played by GMTC in preparing and qualifying security personnel, and stressing the importance of continuing cooperation and coordination to achieve the common interest.
This visit comes within the context of GMTC`s approach aimed at consolidating relations with official and national institutions and strengthening frameworks for joint cooperation to serve the process of national construction and development.
