GMTC organized a field visit for members of the 31st Constituent Leadership Course to the National Security and Police services, as part of the training program aimed at linking theoretical aspects with practical application, and enabling participants to learn about the nature of the work of security institutions and the coordination mechanisms between them.
During the visit, participants learned about the organizational structure and specialized departments in both services, and listened to a detailed explanation of the tasks and specializations, with a focus on the role of operations rooms in managing events, receiving reports, and coordinating the security response, in a way that enhances the readiness of the security services to perform their duties efficiently and effectively.
The visit also provided participants with the opportunity to learn about practical experiences and field work mechanisms, which contributes to expanding their awareness and enhancing their understanding of the complementary roles played by the security services in maintaining security and order.
For his part, Colonel / Moatasem Shehadeh conveyed the greetings of the head of GMTC , Staff Major General/ Mahmoud Haroun, stressing that these field visits constitute an essential part of the training program, as they provide an opportunity to learn about the reality of the work of the security services, and to enhance integration between the theoretical and practical aspects in preparing security leaders.
At the end of the visit, the course members honored the Director of Police of Jericho and the Jordan Valley Governorate, Brigadier / Muaid Abbas, and the Commander of the National Security Zone, Brigadier General/ Mutab Al-Attawneh, in appreciation of the good reception and cooperation, and their efforts in making the visit a success and enriching the cognitive and professional aspect of the participants.
