GMTC for the Security Forces issued the second advanced map reading course, in cooperation with the Turkish training team, with the participation of (13) officers and non-commissioned officers from various security services.
The course included a number of specialized topics, most notably: measuring distances, studying coordinate systems, types of northerners and angles, and using a compass, in addition to learning about the (Google Earth) program, with the aim of enhancing field capabilities and raising the efficiency of participants in managing operations and dealing with various events.
In their speech, the graduates stressed the importance of the course and its role in developing their practical skills, increasing their experience in the field of operating room management, and dealing with field situations with higher efficiency and professionalism.
In his speech, the Assistant Commander of the Training Institute for Training Affairs, Lieutenant Colonel / Muhammad Nofal, conveyed the greetings of Staff Major General/ Mahmoud Haroun, head of GMTC, welcoming the Turkish training team and all attendees, and stressing GMTC's keenness to enhance joint cooperation and work in a spirit of partnership in a way that serves the interests of the security institution.
