GMTC concluded the basic first aid course, which lasted for four consecutive days, with the participation of (29) trainees from various security services.
During the course, participants received a set of basic knowledge and skills, including: principles of first aid, ambulance bag, injury assessment and determining ambulance priorities, evacuation, communication skills, and dealing with injuries and burns, ensuring optimal exploitation of available capabilities and providing effective primary medical care that contributes to preserving the lives of the injured.
In his speech during the graduation ceremony, the Commander of CTI Staff Brigadier / Ashraf Abu Sultan, stressed the importance of this course in raising the level of field readiness of members of the security services, stressing that possessing first aid skills constitutes an essential element in protecting lives and enhancing public safety while performing tasks, especially in emergency circumstances and various field situations.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the trainees graduated, and emphasis was placed on the continued implementation of specialized courses that contribute to developing the professional capabilities of members of the security services.
