Major General Youssef Al-Helou gives a lecture on the security doctrine and its impact on shaping state security policy

Major General/ Youssef Al-Helou gave a specialized lecture entitled "The Security Doctrine and its Impact on Formulating State Security Policy", as part of the training programs implemented by GMTC with the aim of enhancing security and knowledge awareness among members of the security institution.
During the lecture, Major General / Al-Helou reviewed the concept of state security policy, its importance, the basics on which it is based, and the parties responsible for drawing it up and implementing it, in addition to coordination mechanisms between relevant institutions to ensure the achievement of the desired national and security goals.
He also addressed the relationship between state security policy and security doctrine, explaining the role of security doctrine in directing the work of security services and organizing their tasks and duties, as it is the intellectual reference on which they rely in carrying out their national and professional mission.
Al-Helou touched on the types and levels of security doctrine, reviewing the characteristics and tasks associated with each level, and stressing that the Palestinian security services represent an extension of the Palestinian national struggle, which requires developing the security doctrine in line with the nature of the changes and challenges imposed by each stage.
This lecture comes within the framework of GMTC`s efforts to develop the cognitive and professional capabilities of members of the security establishment, and to enhance their understanding of security and strategic issues related to their work
