As part of the training program for the 37th Officers Qualification Course, GMTC organized a specialized lecture entitled "Cybercrime," presented by Major / Adam Faragallah, the certified lecturer in the Cybercrime course, with the aim of enhancing security and legal awareness among officers and qualifying them to deal with the increasing challenges in the digital space.
Major / Farajallah discussed the concept of cybercrimes, their types and methods of committing them, reviewing the most prominent risks that threaten individuals and institutions, in addition to the legal and procedural mechanisms followed in combating them, and ways to prevent them, which contributes to raising the efficiency of officers in dealing with this type of crime.
The lecture also witnessed an interactive discussion with the participants, during which their inquiries were answered, and experiences were exchanged on a number of practical cases and applications, which enhances their professional capabilities in confronting cybercrimes and dealing with them in accordance with the approved legal frameworks.
