GMTC organized a lecture entitled «The Relationship between Media and Security», targeting members of the 30th Intermediate Leadership Course, as part of the course's training program, with the aim of enhancing media and security awareness among participants, and developing their skills in dealing with media issues and situations.
The lecture was presented by Brigadier General Loay Arziqat, the media spokesman for the Palestinian Police, during which he discussed the nature of the relationship between the media and the security institution, the importance of coordination and integration between the two sides, and the role of the media in transmitting information and dealing with security events with professionalism and responsibility.
The program also included the implementation of a number of media scenarios in cooperation with the security side, with the aim of training participants on how to deal with different media situations, and mechanisms for response and communication during events and security conditions.
This lecture is part of a series of programs and lectures implemented by GMTC for members of the 30th Intermediate Leadership Course, which contributes to developing their leadership and professional capabilities and enhancing their readiness to perform their tasks efficiently.
