The head of GMTC staff Major General/ Mahmoud Haroun, and the head of the Political Guidance Authority, Major General/ Anwar Rajab, paid an official visit to His Excellency the Chinese Ambassador to the State of Palestine, Tseng Jishin, at the embassy headquarters in Ramallah.
The visit came within the framework of strengthening bilateral relations and joint cooperation, as staff Major General Haroun expressed his deep appreciation for the firm Chinese positions towards the Palestinian issue, stressing the importance of existing cooperation in the fields of training and development, especially the courses offered by the People's Republic of China, which contribute to raising the efficiency of members of the Palestinian security establishment.
For his part, His Excellency the Ambassador welcomed the visiting delegation, praising the historical relations between the two countries, and stressing China's continued support for the Palestinian people and their legitimate right to establish their independent state on their land. He also renewed his country's commitment to providing training and technical support to the Palestinian security establishment, in a way that enhances its capabilities and meets its needs.
In turn, Major General /Anwar Rajab praised China's role in supporting the Palestinian cause, pointing out the importance of the political dimension in international partnerships, and appreciating China's efforts to enhance the presence of the Palestinian cause on the international scene.
