GMTC and the Ministry of Labor sign a joint cooperation agreement

GMTC for the Security Forces and the Ministry of Labor signed a joint cooperation agreement aimed at enhancing and developing the work environment and occupational safety through mutual training and providing technical and procedural support, which contributes to building the capabilities of workers on both sides.
The agreement was signed in the presence of the Chairman of GMTC staff major general / Mahmoud Haroun and His Excellency the Minister of Labor / Professor Dr. Enas Al-Attari, at the Ministry's headquarters in Ramallah.


The agreement stipulates cooperation in implementing specialized training programs exchanging technical, administrative expertise and providing the necessary technical support, in addition to assessing occupational risks on the ground in a way that reflects positively on employee performance and enhances the efficiency of institutions.
For his part staff major general /Haroun stressed the importance of the agreement as it represents a qualitative shift in the path of cooperation between the two institutions, pointing to the importance of joint training to build professional competencies capable of keeping pace with challenges, pointing to the importance of investing in human resources as a lever for development and state building.
Minister Al-Attari stressed that the agreement comes within the framework of the ministry's vision to expand partnerships with national institutions, especially security and military institutions, in a way that serves the public interest. She also expressed her appreciation for GMT`s efforts to adopt best professional practices.
