The Director of the Training Department at GMTC, Colonel Osama Obaid, opened the "International Standards of Detention" course at the Al-Qasr Hotel in Nablus, in cooperation with the Independent Commission for Human Rights and the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights.
The course will last for three consecutive days, with the participation of 28 trainees from several security agencies. It aims to enhance knowledge of international detention standards and their practical applications, thus contributing to raising the efficiency of security personnel and enhancing respect for human rights.
This course comes as part of GMTC’s ongoing efforts to develop the skills of members of the security services and enhance compliance with international human rights standards.
