GMTC, in partnership with the Independent Commission for Human Rights and the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, concluded a specialized training course entitled: "Building the capabilities of workers in detention centers and glasses on international standards in the treatment of detainees", in the city of Nablus during the period from 22 – 24 September 2025.
The course was attended by 28 trainees from various security agencies, particularly officers working in correctional and rehabilitation centers and detention centers. They received intensive training and lectures over 18 hours, aimed at enhancing their professional capabilities and raising compliance with international human rights standards in places of detention.
At the conclusion of the course, certificates were distributed to the participants, and GMTC and the Independent Commission for Human Rights stressed the continuation of joint cooperation in holding qualitative programs that contribute to developing the competencies of security personnel in a manner consistent with the principles of the rule of law and the preservation of human dignity
