GMTC discusses the results of a multi-level exercise "Protecting a Homeland"

GMTC for the Security Forces held a meeting headed by Staff Major General / Mahmoud Haroun, the head of GMTC, and in the presence of representatives from various security services, to review the results of the multi-level "Protecting a Homeland" exercise, which was recently implemented in Jericho Governorate.
During the meeting, the exercise was reviewed, including the positives and challenges facing the participating teams, with the aim of enhancing field performance and developing mechanisms for joint work between security services.
It was also agreed on the general framework for implementing the next version of the "Protecting a Homeland" exercise in one of the northern governorates, provided that the scenario is prepared by a specialized team, relying on the executive force from the same governorate, in a way that enhances field readiness and effective coordination between the various security units.
The meeting stressed the importance of these exercises in raising the level of operational efficiency of the security services and ensuring full readiness to face any emergency scenarios or challenges at the local and regional levels.
