The Deputy Head of GMTC Brigadier General / Bassam Al-Jerbi, opened the final exercise, "Jerusalem Dawn", within the 23rd Senior Officers Course, which aims to enhance the readiness of members to deal with the worst possible scenarios.
The exercise lasted for five hours, during which the hypothesis of an earthquake occurring simultaneously with a deep depression was simulated, leading to a series of simultaneous and successive crises.
The participants worked under time pressure and coordinated with various state services, with the aim of finding immediate and effective solutions to the resulting crises.
The leadership team stressed that the exercise reflects the importance of joint cooperation between different parties to raise the efficiency of the national response to disasters.
