A delegation from GMTC, represented by the head of GMTC, Staff Major General / Mahmoud Haroun, the deputy of GMTC, Brigadier / Bassam Al-Jarbi, and a number of officers, visited the Center for the Treatment and Rehabilitation of Victims of Torture, where the delegation was received by the Director General of the Center, Dr. Khader Rasras.
This visit came within the framework of honoring and appreciating the effective support and contribution provided by the Center, and its humanitarian and professional role in providing treatment, rehabilitation and psychological support services to victims of torture, and enhancing their steadfastness and empowerment psychologically and socially, in addition to their effective contribution and joint efforts made at GMTC in cooperation with the Psychological Support Department.
During the meeting, Staff Major General / Mahmoud Haroun praised the efforts made by the Center and its specialized cadres, stressing the importance of strengthening partnership and cooperation with national institutions with a humanitarian dimension, as this has an impact in supporting societal stability.
For his part, Dr. Khader Rasras appreciated this visit, stressing the importance of integration between official and community institutions to serve our people, and he also praised the relationship between the center and GMTC stressing the importance of continuing cooperation between the two sides.
