GMTC and the Anti-Corruption Commission launch a specialized training program

GMTC in cooperation with the Anti-Corruption Commission, launched a specialized training program aimed at enhancing integrity, transparency and preventing corruption in security institutions.
This came during a meeting organized at the headquarters of the Anti-Corruption Commission, in the presence of the head of GMTC staff Major General/ Mahmoud Haroun, the Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission, Dr. Raed Radwan, and representatives of both sides.
His Excellency Dr. Raed Radwan stressed that the program aims to develop the capabilities of workers in the fields of purchasing, supplies and logistics management and control, reduce suspicions of corruption, and enhance mechanisms for early detection.
He explained that this training represents the result of ongoing cooperation between the two parties and the beginning of a long-term training plan, especially in light of the difficult economic conditions facing the Palestinian state.
For his part, staff Major General/ Mahmoud Haroun stressed GMTC's keenness to integrate the concepts of combating corruption and enhancing integrity and governance into all its training programs, stressing the importance of protecting public money and consolidating a culture of responsibility and accountability.
He also thanked the Anti-Corruption Commission for its continuous cooperation, stressing the importance of continuing the partnership between the two sides in a way that serves the public interest.
It is noteworthy that the Anti-Corruption Commission attaches special importance to the awareness aspect and relies in its training programs on the interactive approach, with the aim of protecting workers in government institutions from falling into suspicions of corruption
