GMTC held an expanded coordination meeting with the participation of the international team and the training directors of the security institution, to discuss the results of 2025, training needs and action plans for 2026.
The meeting opened with a welcoming speech delivered by the Chairman of the GMTC Staff Major General / Mahmoud Haroun in which he welcomed the attendees, stressing the importance of partnership with supporting international bodies, and their role in developing the training system and raising the efficiency of the security services.
The meeting witnessed the presentation of the results of the 2025 work, where GMTC presented an intervention that addressed the achievements made during the past year, the training needs for 2026, in addition to reviewing the future plan, and the challenges that affected the training process during 2025.
The meeting also included an intervention by the international team, during which policies and directives to support training mechanisms for the benefit of the security services were explained, in line with the actual needs and requirements of the next stage.
In a related context, training directors in the security services participated in their interventions, where they discussed their observations on the training needs of each service, and ways to develop training programs to keep pace with the requirements of security work.
The meeting concluded with an extensive discussion among all attendees, during which opinions were exchanged and recommendations were put forward, which would strengthen the training system and improve institutional performance, in a way that serves the public interest and contributes to raising the efficiency of security personnel.
