The Leadership Training Project organized research discussions for the 29th Intermediate Leadership Course as part of its training program. The discussions were attended by staff Major General/Mahmoud Haroun, Head of GMTC ; his deputy, Brigadier General /Bassam Al-Jerbi; Colonel Dr. Ayed Al-Hamouz, Director of the Scientific Research and Evaluation Department at the Leadership Training Project; Dr. Mohammed Assaf, a faculty member at Al-Istiqlal University; and the training staff supervising the course.
Participants presented their individual research papers, a core requirement of the course. Through these presentations, they showcased the cognitive, administrative, and leadership skills they acquired during the training period. These skills encompassed planning, decision-making, team management, and analytical, research, and evaluation techniques.
Supervisors emphasized the importance of the research discussions as a pivotal component of the training program. They highlighted the role of these discussions in developing participants' research and intellectual capabilities, enhancing their leadership skills, and enabling them to apply their acquired knowledge and experience in diverse work environments. The discussion of research comes as part of a series of training and evaluation requirements that participants undergo, with the aim of measuring their level of progress and the extent to which they benefit from the training content provided during the course stages
