The head of GMTC for the Security Forces, Staff Major General Mahmoud Haroun, received His Excellency the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the State of Palestine, Mr. Ihab Suleiman, and his accompanying delegation, at CTI.

Staff Major General / Haroun welcomed the ambassador and the guest delegation, and briefed them on the most prominent developments witnessed by GMTC, and the various training courses it implements to qualify members of the security services, in a way that enhances their professional competence and improves their performance. He also wished His Excellency the Ambassador continued success in performing his diplomatic duties, praising the depth of the historical relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples, and stressing the pivotal role played by the Arab Republic of Egypt in supporting the Palestinian cause and the rights of the Palestinian people.

For his part, Ambassador Ihab Suleiman expressed his happiness at the visit of GMTC appreciating the efforts it makes in preparing and qualifying security personnel, and stressing the firm position of the Arab Republic of Egypt in support of the rights of the Palestinian people.

At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation made a field tour of the institute's facilities, during which it was briefed on its departments and training facilities, and listened to an explanation about the training programs and courses, their implementation mechanisms, and their role in developing the capabilities of members of the security services and raising their readiness to keep pace with the requirements of security work.
